Who is this product good for?
iUpdateIt is good for anyone who wants to update a website in quick
and easy way. It is a user-friendly simplified Content Management System that
makes it easy for even the average person to update select sections
of a website.
There are three categories of users: Basic Users, Web
Developers, and Advertising Based Websites. |

| Basic Users: Our
starting Account Level is for the basic user that has a
website, but only knows a little bit about how to update it. By installing iUpdateIt we take the difficulty out of the
design work and make it so almost anyone can update their
information with ease. We've provided a basic tutorial
on how to
install the iUpdateIt code. Once
that's been completed, the general user can begin updating
their website as if they were using a word processor, and can
do it whenever they wish.
Web Developers: Our primary
clientele are web designers who wish to give their clients an
easy way to update a site themselves. We find that any
web designer that builds basic flat websites can benefit from
our services, and can make lots of residual income as
Resellers of our services. There are all sorts of dynamic ways to get
information into a website, but most of them are expensive or
take a great deal of knowledge to implement. We've made

Advertising Based Websites:
Another group of iUpdateIt users own larger websites that sell
advertising. Most websites with ads either have their
advertisers provide standard size banner ads or have to go
through the trouble to create them. Then, when the
advertiser wants to change out their ad, the site owners have
to go through the trouble of switching them out. By
using the iUpdateIt system, you can sell "ad spaces" that can
be of any size and that the client can change out themselves. This empowers your advertisers to run whatever ads and
promotions they want whenever they want. |

What does it mean to be a reseller? A reseller has the
opportunity to sell the iUpdateIt Content Management System (CMS) to their own web clients. This means that you
can make money selling iUpdateIt to your clients. Resellers

suggested rate examples). As a reseller you have complete
control over your clients usage, can brand your pages so that your
logo appears when your clients log into their accounts, and can

Sub-Accounts for your
clients: It is very easy to signup your
clients. All of the reseller level
accounts have the ability to create iUpdateIt boxes for yourself and also
"full accounts" for your clients. This means each of your
clients will get their very own login access, and you can setup all
of their iUpdateIt boxes through your Administration Account. Within just a few clicks you can create an account and get one of
your clients using our system. |

Website Statistics: All of
the reseller level accounts get a full range of Website
Statistics. You will be able to learn how many times a piece
of information is pulled into your website which gives you a fairly
detailed view of your "Impressions". You will also be
provided with
information on how much File Storage and Bandwidth your iUpdateIt boxes use in
our system. And, we tell you where the information is pulled
from so if your iUpdateIt boxes are installed in more than one location you
can tell which one's are having a better effect. Having good
website statistics is important to know the success of your
iUpdateIt boxes. |

Branding Features: The
iUpdateIt system allows you to upload your own Logo, Website
Address, and Email Support to be displayed in your
accounts. You get your own URL line for member
login as well. You are also given an iUpdateIt box
that you can use for "announcements" that will appear
within all of your sub-accounts. The idea is
to have your clients think the iUpdateIt service is
completely yours! |

Advertising: As a reseller your account and
your sub-accounts for your clients/users will not have
any advertising within them. Your accounts will be

What functions does the editing toolbar
provide? The iUpdateIt Content Management System (CMS) has a very simple
website editing toolbar
that allows the user to make a nice amount of word processing
oriented changes to their information. This includes the
ability to font your text with standard web fonts, change the color
and size of the text, add bullet points, add basic tables and cells
to control your information, upload pictures and files (see below),
add hyperlinks within your iUpdateIt boxes, and many more common functions. We've done our very best to provide an extremely
user-friendly editing toolbar to make updating your website easy. Here's a

Is it easy to update
content in an iUpdateIt box on my website? You
will be amazed at how easy you or your clients find updating the
information in their iUpdateIt boxes, and thus updating the content
of their websites. Anyone who has any familiarity with using a
basic word processing program will find our website editing tool a
breeze. Most of our users have told us that they or their clients
could immediately start using the web editor without any tutorial or
help.
It's a simple as: Logging into iUpdateIt, Choosing the iUpdateIt Box you want
to Edit, Editing the Content of that Box, and Hitting the "Update"
button. And, your website has been successfully updated! |

Can I upload pictures and files into my
site? Yes. The user-friendly editing screen
allows you to upload most of the standard image and document files.
So, if you want to add a picture into your website, you will be able
to do it whenever you wish. You can also post documents like
PDF files so that people can "click" to download things like flyers,
forms, and other printed materials. Every account gets both an
Image Gallery and File Folder that allows the user to upload their
own pictures and files into our system. |

Can I rotate
content in an iUpdateIt Box? Another
great feature of iUpdateIt is the ability to have information
rotating "live" on your website. The iUpdateIt system
has a function that
allows you to setup "Rotate Slots" where you can have the
information currently being viewed to rotate back and forth. This can be set to rotate quickly or slowly between slots; can
rotate through the sequence once, twice, or forever; and can even
create the imagery of having animated pictures on your site.
A great example would be if you were a
Realtor that had a house that they wanted to display with a series
of pictures like a "slideshow". You could create a
bunch of "Rotate Slots". Each one could have a picture of
the property. Then, you set the slots
to rotate every 3 or 4 seconds. This would then display
visually on the website showing the series of pictures one at a
time rotating from one to the next. |

Can I schedule content to automatically
appear in advance? The iUpdateIt system
has a user-friendly way
to have information posted automatically to a website based on a
date and time. For each iUpdateIt box you can create an
unlimited amount of "Dated Slots" that allow you to put information
into the system for the future. For each slot you set the Date
and Time you want it to go "live to the public" and the system will
automatically switch your information for you. You can
literally have your website update for you every day, month, or
year. Our content management system (CMS) controls it for you! This
function can be used in tons of ways from
scheduling future sales or specials to be posted on your site - to
rotating out pictures - to changing out event schedules - to posting
any sort of information on your site when you aren't even going to
be around. The automated scheduling program makes it easy for
you to change information whenever you want. |
