   This focus on nature provides a showcase for many of our artists who share an unshakable love of the outdoors. In the paintings of Gerald Moore, his meticulous expression of detail lends a you-are-there atmosphere to birch forests and deserts and mountain meadows where every blade of grass is nuanced with light. In the abstract paintings of David Johns, the natural world of the Navajo comes alive with the energy of generations still vibrant in a place that holds the footsteps of generations gone by.  \\r\\n

 For collectors drawn to the animals for whom nature is home there are welded steel birds by Nina Scott-Hansen, bronze bears and eagles by Kim Chavez – including pieces both small and giant, and sweet tiny paintings of birds’ nests by Cynthia Reid.
