It\'s that time of year again! Borderland Food Bank is participating in the 13th Annual Feinstein Challenge. All donations received between March 1st - April 30th will be multiplied by the Feinstein Foundation. We were eligible to receive $40,000. We need your help!!! Please stop by and donate today!! Volunteering at Borderland Food Bank
\\r\\n
\\r\\n
On\\r\\nSaturday, January 23, the President of the Phoenix Phil-Am Lions Club,\\r\\nEmma Rosales and 13 of the Club members have driven the three-hour\\r\\ndrive and volunteered at the Borderland Food Bank in Nogales, Arizona.\\r\\nThe group initially dropped by at the SMA/The 3000 Club\\r\\noffice/warehouse in Tucson and was joined by three other volunteers led\\r\\nby Patty Figueroa.
\\r\\nThe\\r\\ngroup was greeted by BFB\'s Executive Director, Yolanda Soto and her\\r\\nstaff and was given a tour of the facility. The volunteers sorted and\\r\\nrepacked produce consisting of cucumbers, zucchini, squash, honeydew\\r\\nmelons, watermelon, tomatoes and eggplants. Lunch was served after\\r\\nwhich the volunteers loaded their respective trunks with produce which\\r\\nwere given to a church in Phoenix and also to Casia Maria in Tucson, a\\r\\ncommunity project that helps feed those in need of meals, shelter and\\r\\nclothing.
